Chris was raised the eldest son of an Air Force officer. He attended Woodbridge School where as well as studies he won the school prize for public speaking, captained the 2nd XV rugby and was head of sixth form. After a varied career path,Chris trained as a lawyer and ran his own practice for fifteen years specialising in criminal defence work. Here he earned an enviable reputation as a tenacious lawyer and even appears in Hansard. Personal circumstances and a desire for more free time led him to re-evaluate his situation. He retired from that work to be with his wife and relax more.
He also loves photography. This hobby was started at school when several friends, some of whom he is still in touch with, had cameras and used the school dark room to develop their films. Chris has a number of cameras, both film and digital. He takes pictures wherever he is for no other reason than the pleasure of them and the memories they hold.
Wildlife photography, once he took 1500 pictures in two weeks while on safari in Kenya providing some fantastic memories. Here is a giraffe drinking from a pool in the Masai Mara.
And when its not moving some quirky architecture is sure to entice the camera from the bag. This is a view from Barcelona of the Sagrada Familia from the rooftop of Gaudi‘s former house.
Chris lives at home in East Anglia with his wife. He decided to write novels to encourage his creative side and hopes to give the reader a page turning experience they enjoy. When not thinking about writing he plays golf or relaxes with a mojito! He also loves travel and the wonder of different cultures, Asia among his favourites.
